Super Eagles Skipper, Ahmed Musa, has stepped in to alleviate the burden of high petrol prices in Kano, Nigeria. The footballer has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (petrol) at his fueling station, MYCA7, in the state. Musa reduced the price from N620 to N580 per litre.
The announcement was made on his verified Twitter page, sparking excitement among Nigerians. Musa’s gesture comes at a time when the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited had recently announced an increase in the petrol pump price to N617 per litre.
Vehicle owners and motorists in Kano have applauded Ahmed Musa’s thoughtful gesture, as it will provide some relief from the high fuel costs. People can now purchase fuel at a more affordable price, thanks to the reduction at MYCA7 filling station.
