Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesoma has issued a public apology to the Registrar of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and the Nigerian public. She expressed her remorse and requested that JAMB show leniency by reversing the three-year ban imposed on her.
Ejikeme presented her letter of apology during a hearing conducted by the House of Representatives ad hoc committee investigating the alleged manipulation of UTME results by Miss Ejikeme Mmesoma. The committee session took place in Abuja.
The investigation was initiated following a motion supported by the House two weeks ago to look into the allegations of UTME result manipulation by Mmesoma.
During the investigative hearing, the Registrar of JAMB, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, and the management of JAMB were present.
