A fellow Nigerian musician, Adeyinka Adeboye, popularly known as Boyebest, took to his Instagram account to alert the public about the incident. In his post, he expressed concern over the safety of the abducted individuals and decried the state of affairs in Nigeria. Boyebest stated, “A whole band of members kidnapped. Nigeria is messed up. I swear my prayers are with you guys. You will all come out alive.”
According to reports circulating on the internet, the Juju musician and his band members were abducted by unknown gunmen after performing live at an event in Abuja during the weekend. The kidnappers are said to be demanding a ransom of N10 million for the release of the musicians.
