A video capturing the moment when Joyc Ijeoma, a Nigerian woman, collapsed during her ambitious endeavor to break the Guinness World Record for the longest massage on different individuals has recently surfaced on social media.
Ijeoma had initiated the record-breaking challenge in the Lekki area of Lagos State, aiming to establish a new Guinness World Record. Prior to the incident, she had dedicated over 18 hours to practicing and preparing for the strenuous task.
In the circulating video on social media, Ijeoma is visibly struggling and eventually succumbs, collapsing to the ground after having tirelessly massaged various individuals for over fifty consecutive hours.
Witnesses rush to her aid, swiftly carrying her away from the stage where she had been striving to achieve the groundbreaking feat. Regrettably, there was no medical team present at the scene, but the concerned onlookers made manual efforts to revive her.
Ijeoma’s aspiration was to surpass Alastair Galpin’s existing record of 25 hours and 4 minutes for the longest full-body massage, which had been set in South Kalimantan, Indonesia, back in November 2015.
