High Chief (Hon.) Caleb Ebimobowei Molos is the Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area in Ondo State, Nigeria. A respected administrator, community leader, and entrepreneur, Molos has built a reputation for dedication to public service, grassroots development, and youth empowerment.
Born on January 3, 1973, in Opuba community in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of Ondo State, Molos hails from the well-known Kiliki family. He is the son of High Chief Kiliki Elkaiah Molos (JP) and Mrs. Mope Esther Kiliki (née Ajama). His upbringing within a respected family in the riverine region of Ondo State helped shape his commitment to leadership and service to the community.
Today, High Chief Molos serves as the Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government, one of the coastal local government areas in Ondo State.
Educational Background
Caleb Ebimobowei Molos has a strong academic background in business administration and management.
He holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Business Administration from the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), Ekiti State, obtained in 2024.
Prior to that, he earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration from Interlink Polytechnic, Ijebu-Jesa, Osun State, in 2018.
Earlier in his academic journey, he obtained a National Diploma (ND) in Business Administration from the Federal Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State, in 2014.
His early education began at F.A.C. Primary School, Akpata/Opuba, after which he attended Community Grammar School, Biagbini, where he completed his post-primary education in 1995.
In addition to his academic training, Molos also underwent professional security training at the Nigeria Police College in Ikeja, Lagos State, where he was certified as a Chief Superintendent of Police (Spy).
Career and Public Service
High Chief Caleb Ebimobowei Molos has had a distinguished career spanning more than two decades across both the public and private sectors.
Before becoming the Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area, he served as the Chairman of Arogbo Local Council Development Area in 2024.
Earlier in his career, he worked for many years in the Ondo State Local Government Service Commission, where he served as a Senior Executive Officer between 1999 and 2023. During this period, he gained valuable experience in public administration, policy implementation, and local government management.
He also served as Principal Assistant to the late Dr. F. K. Ajih, the pioneer Executive Chairman of Ese-Odo Local Government Area. This role exposed him to grassroots governance and community leadership at an early stage in his career.
Before joining the public service, Molos worked as a Technical Assistant at the National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), Sapele, Delta State, between 1992 and 1994.
He also served as a Clerical Officer at Ukparama Community Bank in Akpata/Opuba between 1995 and 1996.
These experiences laid the foundation for his long career in administration and leadership.
Business and Philanthropy
Aside from public service, High Chief Molos is also an entrepreneur and philanthropist.
He is the Chief Executive Officer of Opuebi Nigeria Limited and the Proprietor of Pama Group of Schools located in Okitipupa, Ondo State.
In 2012, he founded the Ebi Molos Care Foundation, a philanthropic organisation focused on supporting students and small business owners.
Through the foundation, several students in tertiary institutions have benefited from monthly stipends to support their education.
The foundation also provides interest-free loans to small and medium-scale business owners, helping local entrepreneurs expand their businesses.
Over the years, the foundation has supported community development initiatives with financial assistance running into millions of naira.

He holds the prestigious title of Ibe Taritobou, conferred on him by His Imperial Majesty, Pere (Barr.) Zaccheaous Doubra Egbunu, Opukutu III, the Agadagba and Paramount Ruler of Arogbo Ijaw Ibe.
