The suspect, identified as Giwa Sodiq, was arrested by operatives of the Oyo State Police Command in connection with the death of Kehinde, popularly known as “Ogo Ojigbo.” 
The fatal incident occurred in Asalu Community in Lalupon, Lagelu Local Government Area, where residents were reportedly awakened in the night by disturbances involving a group of youths. 
According to the police, community leaders alerted officers at the Iyana-Offa Police Division after local security guards detected a confrontation among youths within the neighbourhood.
Victim Died After Sustaining Injuries
Police authorities said that individuals injured during the confrontation were quickly transported to Ojo Oluwa Hospital in Iyana-Offa for urgent medical attention.
Despite efforts by medical personnel to stabilise the victims, Kehinde later succumbed to injuries sustained during the clash. 
Following confirmation of the death, the police began a murder investigation and took one suspect into custody.
The remains of the deceased were subsequently deposited at the Adeoyo State Hospital morgue in Ring Road, Ibadan, where an autopsy is expected to determine the exact cause of death.
