KADUNA — The Kaduna State Government has commenced computer-based confirmation examinations for approximately 3,000 civil servants as part of efforts to strengthen professionalism, accountability and merit within the state’s public service.
The exercise, organised by the Office of the Head of Service, is being conducted simultaneously in Kaduna, Zaria and Kafanchan, with eligible officers sitting for the examinations required for confirmation of their appointments into the state civil service.

Other cadres, including teachers, sit for three papers comprising:
- Public Service Rules, Financial Instructions and Stores Regulations
- Local Government Administration
- General Paper
Candidates who previously completed only part of the examination are required to register again and sit only the outstanding papers relevant to their cadre.
This approach enables the state government to evaluate officers according to the responsibilities associated with their professional roles.
